Optus aggrevation

In some ways, I don't mind Optus. They still seem to give slightly better service than Telstra and their rates are mostly reasonable.

But I'm not impressed by their coverage. At our last home, the coverage was so bad that I had to stand on one leg on the balcony to get a decent signal. Now we've moved to our new home, and its still terrible!

I want retribution!. And it seems I'm not alone. From news.com
An investigation by The Daily Telegraph revealed Optus iPhones constantly drop out or simply do not receive calls all over Sydney.
It has prompted an angry customer revolt against an atmosphere of consumer uprising in the 22,000-strong class action against Vodafone.
What really irritates is that there may be a solution. The Optus 3G Home Zone "gives you up to 5 bars of signal". To do this "It plugs directly into your fixed line broadband service and uses your broadband data allowance to connect up to four simultaneous users."

And if you are on a $79 Plan or higher, it will only cost you $60 rather than $240.

BUT if you are on a $49, $59 or $69 Plans, it will cost you double - $120.

Now, as a small business with two phones, both on a $59 plan, which charge do you think they will try to levy against me?

Its enough to make me want to go to Telstra, although not enough to make me want to switch to Vodafone. Don't even get me started on how crappy their mobile broadband has proven to be.
