Text from the letter I've sent to various NSW senators

As a NSW resident and long time follower of the unacceptable behaviour of the so-called "Church" of Scientology, I am writing to ask you to please vote to support an enquiry into this cult.

My research suggests that this cult exists only to gather money and exert control over those under its influence. This cult also abuses the legal process to silence former members or detractors.

As such, a Senate enquiry is a proper action to review the legality of the entire organisation along with any government support for this group including its tax exempt status. As well, evidence uncovered by the Senate should be handed over to the police if it can form the basis of criminal charges.
