One of the things that most irritates me is hypocrisy. A key example is people (usually Republican in the US), who use the bible to hate on others (gays, other religions) and then fully support the US Defense force.
The irony is they usually use old testament quotes to support their position, but then forget the Bible verse in Isiah 2:4, "They shall beat their swords into
plowshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks: nation shall not lift
up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more."
One other point - should the US Defense forces be renamed "US Attack forces". They sure do more attacking others than defending against attack.
