Injustice

Like my 4 year old son, I am (and always have been) very sensitive to injustice. Perhaps that is why the slow downfall of the US is so sad. Some examples:

• The ongoing foreclosure fraud by US banks, at the same time as they happily process billions of dollars of drug money. See this article, for example.
• The entire 'War on Drugs' - actually a war on freedom - and the interrelated privatization of the Prison industry. See this reddit thread for some great thoughts.
• Corporate greed and the unwillingness for corporations and the richest 1% to pay their fair share. See this article and related posts. 
• Corrupt or, at best, inept Governent agents not being held accountable for their actions. See this NYTimes article and  this analysis
